Problem solving

At the half way point of my FMP (Week 6) decided to do a SWOT analysis of my FMP so far, in which I will go back to during evaluation time to see if I have met the opportunities and tackled the threats and weaknesses.

Strengths:

  • I have made progress in my research and have a good understanding of the issue I am tackling.
  • I have created a clear vision and plan for my campaign.
  • I have started to create mock-ups and take photographs, which is a good start to the production phase.
  • I have been regularly receiving feedback from focus groups, which has helped me to refine my ideas.

Weaknesses:

  • Time management has been a struggle, which has affected my progress in some areas such as taking photographs and editing.
  • I have not been able to take as many photographs as I would like, and may need to schedule another shoot date.

Opportunities:

  • By continuing to receive feedback from focus groups, I can ensure that my campaign resonates with my target audience and effectively boosts sales and growth of social media
  • There is potential to expand the campaign beyond just a website and social media presence, such as organizing events or partnering with other organizations.

Threats:

  • There is a risk of not meeting the deadline for the final major project, which could negatively impact my grade.
  • There is a risk of not being able to secure permission to use certain photographs or stories due to copyright or privacy concerns.
  • The topic of eating disorders is sensitive and could potentially trigger negative emotions or reactions from some individuals.
  • There is a risk of not being able to effectively reach my target audience and create the intended impact.

One problem I seem to keep coming across is images that I use coming up as copyrighted. As someone who is creating a marketing campaign , it is essential to take copyright laws into account. Despite the fact I am going to be taking my own graphics, for the aesthetic reasons I still need other images to fill out my website. So, I need to ensure that I have the legal rights to use all the images and other materials that I include on my website. It is important to respect the intellectual property rights of others and avoid any legal issues or negative consequences.

To avoid any copyright infringement issues, I have decided to use royalty-free images on my website. These are images that I can legally use without having to pay any additional fees or obtain permission from the copyright owner. Using royalty-free images will save me time, and also give me peace of mind knowing that I am not violating any copyright laws.

ii also find it quite diffcult as i don’;t have certain resources to use ads o9n social media to boost my campaign.

Furthermore, using royalty-free images also means that I will have a wide range of high-quality images to choose from, which will help me to create a visually appealing and engaging website. By taking copyright laws into account and using royalty-free images, I can create a professional-looking website while also avoiding any legal issues. These are three websites that I have experience using to get my stock photos.
